Dr. Attila Fest, the founder and name-giving managing partner of Fest & Partner Attorneys at Law, began his professional career in 1994 at the International Legal Department of National Bank of Hungary. His career continued between 1995 and 1999 as an associate and after passing the bar exam (1996) as an attorney-at-law at the Law Office of Réti & Antall, which was associated with the Canadian law firm, Stikeman, Elliott, and later at Burai-Kovács & Partners Attorneys at Law (Andersen Legal Budapest) as a senior counsel and thereafter as a partner. From 2002 until 2011, dr. Fest was founder and office leading partner of Fest & Kajli Attorneys at Law cooperating with Ernst & Young Hungary and then of Gobert, Fest & Partners Attorneys at Law, which law firm has acted for many years in close co-operation with the prestigious German law firm Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH. Dr. Fest has been a name-giving managing partner of Walde, Fest & Partners Attorneys Law since November 2011 until October 2014.

Dr. Fest provides legal services to the Law Firm’s Clients first of all in the area of corporate law, mergers, acquisitions (M&A) and Group-restructurings, commercial and civil law, IP and /IT law. Dr. Fest has special expertise and experience in conducting and coordinating full scope and limited scope legal due diligence investigations, in directing and conducting legal / business negotiations aimed to acquire business shares, especially in respect of acquisitions, privatisations and other transactions involving energy, telecommunication, pharmaceutical and media companies as well as in the field of sport.

Apart from his native Hungarian language, dr. Fest speaks fluent English, German and French.

 

Dr. Péter László, founding partner of Fest & Partner Attorneys at Law, started his professional career in 1998 at the Nagy és Trócsányi Law Office where had worked as an associate. From 2000 until 2006 he had filled diverse executive positions in the central public administration, in the meantime he had passed his bar exam in 2002. Since 2006 his attention turned again to the private sphere: after the establishment of his own law firm, Dr. Laszló, as cooperative attorney-at law, had been working with several law firms with international background, thus since January 2008 until October 2011 with Gobert, Fest & Partners Attorneys at Law which law firm has acted for many years in close co-operation with the prestigious German law firm Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH. Dr. László has been a partner of Walde, Fest & Partners Attorneys at Law between March 2012 and October 2014.

Dr. László provides legal services to the Law Firm’s Clients primarily in the fileds of civil law (Law of contracts), corporate law, company law, administrative law, real estate law, data privacy, intellectual property and sport law.

Apart from his native Hungarian language, dr. László speaks fluent English and Italian.
